NTBG Physicians' Course and Scientific Symposium
Join us for the 2012 NTBG Physicians' Course and Scientific Symposium held at The Kampong botanical garden on Saturday, February 4, 2012.
Designed for physicians and other healthcare professionals, the Course imparts leading-edge research and information on ethnomedicine through lectures and hands-on experience. Our keynote speaker, Dr. Wade Davis is a National Geographic Explorer-in-Residence and the 2012 NTBG David Fairchild Medal Winner. Scheduled to present at the Symposium are: Dr. Brad Bennett of FIU, Dr. Paul Alan Cox of The Institute for Ethnomedicine, Dr. Michele Williams of The Florida Public Archaeology Network, and Dr. Bernd Wollschlaeger of Aventura Family Health Center. A walking tour highlighting The Kampong's extensive collection of medical plants and their uses is included.
Symposium begins at 9AM and ends with the keynote speech from 7-9PM. Box lunch and buffet dinner are included.
**The Florida Medical Association designates this education activity for a maximum of 8.0 PRA Category 1 CME credits.**
