The University of Georgia Collegium Musicum
"AN AFTERNOON OF MUSICAL GEMS FROM THE RENAISSANCE AND BAROQUE"
The ensemble of The University of Georgia Collegium Musicum lead by Dr Mitos Andaya will be at the monastery to perform for the monks and some close friends. We are extending this invitation to ALL our friends to join us for the ensemble's performance of:
"An Afternoon of Musical Gems from the Renaissance and Baroque"
Expressive works of Josquin Des Pres, Robert White, Henry Purcell and more.
Featuring also the exquisite, rarely heard "Litanies de la Vierge" (Litany to the Virgin) by Marc-Antoine Charpentier with violins and continuo.
