Directed by Michael Schaerer: "The paths of five boys cross in a Swiss children's clinic. Just like other boys of their age they dream about careers as professional athletes and pilots, unlimited freedom and of course girls. But before they have a chance to live out any of these dreams they have to start fighting to save their own lives. Jonas has leukaemia and only a bone marrow transplant can save him. Michi, Benji and Kevin have to undergo chemotherapy, and Sascha, the new kid, is still waiting for his diagnosis. Each of the five ward pirates tries in his own way to cope with the situation. But they all support each other and that in turn strengthens the group as a whole. Together they keep the staff on their toes and turn the night-time hospital into their playground."(Emden International Film Festival)
