On April 16, 2016, Place des Arts welcomes Roger Mangas, Aleksandra Dziobek, Monica Pfau and guests to perform for the Faculty Performance Series.
Spend the evening enjoying classic treasures from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Violinist Roger Mangas, pianist Monica Pfau and cellist Aleksandra Dziobek, along with guest violinists Sasha Poon and Peter Weinkam, will take you on a musical journey of reminiscence from the passionate Romanticism of Johannes Brahms to one of the most exhilarating and haunting pieces of chamber music of the last century: The Quintet op. 57 for piano and string quartet by Dimitri Shostakovich.
