Deco-Fest 2011 at the Buffalo Central Terminal
IMPORTANT UPDATE: Date has been changed to Friday, June 24th. If you bought tickets for the old date, they will be honored on June 24th.
Deco-Fest 2011: To Celebrate the Swing & Style of the Central Terminal! This year's event will help us celebrate the Central Terminal's 82nd Anniversary of when the first train pulled out of the station in 1929. This event is a 100% fundraiser to help restore the Terminal.
This year's event features the Multi-Platinum National Recording Artists, The Cherry Poppin' Daddies! The Daddies sold over 2 million records back in 1998 and their top 20 Billboard hit, Zoot Suit Riot still gets regular play today and some consider this song the anthem to the late 90's swing revival.

Other Festivities:
- Vintage burlesque show by Chelsea Green from Pole Play Dance Studio!
- Become a pin-up model! Scarlet Noir Photographic will be using the Central Terminal as the backdrop for your very own vintage photo shoot. Packages will be available for pictures that include full dress, hair, and makeup!
- Meet & Greet with Kelly "Kelvis" Welsted! From the pages of Retro Lovely Magazine is Professional Model Kelly Welsted. Kelly will be selling magazines and photos. She will have exclusive photos available that were taken at a special Central Terminal photo shoot done just for this event!
- Learn how to Swing Dance! Swing Dance instructors will be on hand for a basic dance lesson and demo! Two great groups on hand: Chuck Chazz and the Next Generation Swing, and Swing Buffalo!
- Miss Deco-Fest and Central Terminal 2011 Contest! We are looking for that perfect girl that represents the Central Terminal for the year. The Terminal is a vintage building and a landmark of Buffalo. Miss Central Terminal should represent all of the qualities that make the Central Terminal so grand! Participate in the contest and you can become Miss Central Terminal 2011! Prizes and a trophy will be awarded.
