Nick Nice:
Nick Nice has been dj'ing for 20+ years. An avid vinyl/music collector since childhood he began his dj career in earnest in order to share his passion with the public. He was one of the founders of the midwest rave scene, organizing some of the first events in the United States back in 1991. While living in France for several years he was a resident dj at the infamous Queen club, located on the Champs-Elysées in Paris. He was hired by David Guetta who was the artistic director at the time. He has also performed extensively throughout France and continental Europe. In addition Nick was one of the first international dj's to play in Moscow, Russia in 1993.
He has performed with many amazing artists such as; Daft Punk, David Guetta, Kaskade, Deadmau5, Dimitri from Paris, Peter Hook, Hot Chip, L.A. Riots, Bonobo, Richie Hawtin, Deep Dish, Green Velvet, Alice Russell, Laurent Garnier, Derrick May, Dirty Vegas, BT, Dj Drama, Right Said Fred, Mark Farina, Georg Levin, Koop, Dj Funk, Magda, Derrick Carter, Johnny Fiasco, Traxx, Daniel Best, Rork, Soldiers of Twilight, Dixon, Jazzanova, John Acquaviva, Woody McBride, Miles Maeda, Huggie, Solid Gold, Tortured Soul, Pure Science, Roy Davis Jr., Idjut Boys, Kevin Saunderson, Hercules & Love Affair, Faze Action, Scott Hardkiss, Mixmaster Morris, Boo Williams, Claude Monnet, Felli Fel, Rupaul, Didier Sinclair, Manu le Malin, Liza 'n' Eliaz, Frankie Bones, Adam X, Jimmy Crash, Terry Mullan, James Amato, Matthias Heilbronn, Juan Atkins, Tommie Sunshine, Mazi, Lego, Jesse Saunders, Patrick Vidal & many more...
Nick also produces music with his friend Brad Owen under the alias of The Regionalists. Their first release, Live Nude Rhodes, sold over 2000 copies on vinyl. They have also done several remixes, most notably one for Amnesty International's 40th Anniversary in collaboration with the Buddha Bar mix CD series. Nick's musical style is not limited to any one genre in particular; preferring to play for the vibe of the venue, the crowd and his mood in general.
One thing is for sure; Nick's love of music, life and bringing different groups of people together always comes across no matter what the setting. Nick Nice will always make you dance or get your head nodding and guarantees you will have a good time when he is performing.
