The Lonely Forest Concert
LONELY FOREST CONCERT BENEFITS FRIENDS OF THE FOREST Mark your calendar for a Saturday, March 5, 2011 rock concert at the Port of Anacortes Warehouse featuring The Lonely Forest and Mount Eerie. The event will kick off the Lonely Forest's national tour in support of their major label debut album, "Arrows," released by Atlantic Records' Trans imprint.
Last year the band raised thousands of dollars for the reconstruction of Trestle; this Friends of the Forest benefit is another example of the group's support of hometown causes, even while they are rising stars nationally. The Lonely Forest produced a video, filmed at last year's Anacortes 4th of July Parade for their new single, "Turn Off This Song And Go Outside;" to view it click the YouTube link on the band's website: www.thelonelyforest.com
What time is the group playing? THE SHOW STARTS AT 8PM WITH The Drink Up Honey, followed by Mount Eerie and then The Lonely Forest!
