Soirée is proudly presenting the Kim Stone Trio in concert on Saturday, May 9th! This is a rare Colorado Springs appearance for this Denver-based trio that consists of Mitch Chmara on guitar, Kevin Smith on drums and percussion and Kim Stone on bass. This performance will have a bit of an unsual twist to it as part of the Soirée Words & Music program; stories and music will center around the work of Miles Davis and Dave Brubeck.
Words & Music is an intimate auto-biographical celebration of the extraordinary lives of individuals in a format that spans the magic of storytelling and live music. How does it all come together? Well now, we can't give away all the secrets!
Admission to Words & Music is $10.00; and seats are limited. At Soirée, the performance and visual art is sensational and the craft wine/beer/cocktail menu is a delight to explore!
