Motion Capture Workshop with Goose Manriquez, Animation Director and co-founder of Cinematico, Inc., a 3D design, animation, and motion capture studio based in San Francisco.

Description: In this exciting workshop, an actor will gear up in a motion capture suit and allow the children to direct his or her movements. Data output from the motion capture suit will be used to animate a cartoon avatar on a large monitor. There will also be a green screen set up to shoot short videos of the children. Goose will create a composite of the cartoon avatar and the footage of the child and soon after the festival we will send out DVDs of the short films to the children who created them.
