Tweed River Music Festival Presents Spotted Tiger, Pat & The Hats, Cowboy & Lady
Tweed River Music Festival is happening this summer in Stockbridge, VT and we are presenting this event and many others leading up to the festival which takes place on July 31-August 2nd.
Led by violist Laurence Scudder and Erik White on guitar, Spotted Tiger is rounded out by a malleable all-star combination of Boston area musicians. Playing an inspiring variety of original music and hand-picked covers from an array of genres, this band is on the move.
Spotted Tiger sometimes acoustic, always eclectic.
Pat & The Hats
Pat & the Hats is an original modern rock band from Central NH culminating in a humbling amount of praise for the band's first full length album, "Fake it 'til You Make a Hit". "The record is both hook-filled and impossible to pigeon hole, a work spanning the rock spectrum" (Hippo Press). 60 years of pop and rock influences have melded into one diverse, but unified collection of original music. It even features Greg Hawkes of the Cars. The band is currently supporting the release of "Fake it 'till You Make a Hit" in venues throughout the New England, and beyond.
Pat and the Hats have rocked the stages of such prominent venues as the Capitol Center for the Arts, The Verizon Wireless Center, The Granite State Music Festival , and Campfire Music Festival, where they have shared the bill with national and regional acts such as Charles Bradley, Lake Street Dive, Delta Spirit, Kung Fu, Teitur, Lucius, Zach Deputy and many more.
Highlights of 2014 included a "Best of 2014" from the Hippo Press, being named "Best New Band" from NH Magazine's "Best of NH Issue", and "Last Band Standing in New Hampshire" by the New England Music Awards. Their music has been featured on NHPR's "Word of Mouth", WNHN, WJYY, and is regularly spun on 106.3 Frank FM's "Local Music Show".
Pat & the Hats began as the vision of Patrik Gochez - front-man, songwriter, guitarist and keyboard player for the group - in early 2013. A seasoned songwriter and performer, Pat was first joined by Brenden Harisiades on bass and vocals, and Bobby Rice on drums and vocals. After performing as a power trio for almost a year, the group was then rounded out with lead guitarist Scott Solsky and backing vocalist Brittany Laine.
"Pat and the Hats displayed professionalism and class on the stage, showing the true essence of why they are winning awards for best new band in New Hampshire". (Cider Magazine)
