Zydeco House Party featuring Dwight (Blackcat) Carrier & RoDoggs
One of the top zydeco bands to come out of Louisiana, Dwight "Black Cat" Carrier and the Zydeco Ro Doggs bring their fiery mix of zydeco and Cajun music to the Hannah Gallery in Marin City. The music will be hot, the dancing scintillating, and the creole gumbo "slap your mama" good -- everything you need to have a memorable old fashioned Louisiana house party.
With blues and R&B influences, Blackcat comes from a long line of distinguished musicians and is the nephew of legendary musician Roy Carrier.Dwight played with the Creole Zydeco Snap Band, headed by Creole and blues musician Warren Ceasar touring extensively around the world for several years, including multiple appearances at the world famous New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
