Sol Y Canto - "Sabor Y Memoria"
In their return to Bryn Mawr, alumna Rosi Amador and her husband, composer Brian Amador, bring their newest multimedia, pan-Latin musical suite centered on a favorite topic...food! Performed by the six members of Sol y Canto along with the Sweet Plantain String Quartet, Sabor y Memoria (Flavor and Memory): A Musical Feast in Seven Courses, touches on issues of memory and nostalgia for one's home country, immigration, hunger, cooking, and of course, chocolate! The concert will be followed by a Bryn Mawr Birthday Fiesta.
