Festa Junina
There is more to Brazil than carnaval, samba, and feijoada. And there is more to the Mission than carnival, low riders, and burritos.
Come celebrate Brazil's grooviest traditional festival while supporting the Mission's grooviest world music school.
Festa Junina (aka São João) is a traditional festival in the Northeast of Brazil. It is usually celebrated with forró music and quadrilha dance.
And here in the land of São Francisco, we are blessed with one of the most authentic sounding forró groups outside of Brazil. So come dance to the sounds of Forró Brazuca. We will also have tasty Caipirinhas and gooooooood Brazilian food.
$15 - $95 (slippery sliding scale)
