Choral Arts Society Spring Concert: "In Hindsight"

Join us for our joyful and eclectic Spring Concert, as we explore how each generation of composers has looked to the past for inspiration. Using older styles, themes, folk songs, hymns and melodies, each composer on our program has taken something from the past to create something new and beautiful. Works include Copland's "Old American Songs", selections from Charpentier's "Messe Minuit de Noel", selections from the Bach B minor Mass, Rachmaninoff's "Bogoroditze Devo", Brahms's "O Heiland Reiss", and Howard Hanson's How Excellent Thy Name and The One Hundred Fiftieth Psalm.
