2010 METROsquash Auxiliary Board Happy Hour Fundraiser

Friends, Family and Squash Enthusiasts!

Please join the METROsquash Auxiliary Board at Zella for cocktails, camaraderie, and prizes as we celebrate the completion of another very successful year for the program!

Zella will be hosting a 3 hour open bar happy hour in honor of METROsquash.

METROsquash engages 5th-9th grade students from Chicago Public Schools in equal parts squash and academic instruction. In 2009-2010, 100% of current eighth grade students have been accepted to selective high schools and METROsquash seventh graders performed 89% higher in math and 41% higher in reading than their class averages on Illinois State standardized tests. On the squash court 14 METROsquash student will earn a year-end US Squash national ranking and METROsquash students have travelled to over 30 cities since METROsquash began. Plus our students were always busy with cultural actives, community service projects and high school and college visits

We hope to see you on May 13 to support our students as they continue to fulfill their academic, athletic and personal potential.

The three hour Happy Hour includes domestic bottles and draft, name brand liquor and house wine!
