Words of Wisdom and Love
The featured work in this concert is Mark Kross' Pirke Avot: Sayings of the Fathers for choir and jazz ensemble. Other works will include Eric Whitacre's beautiful Five Hebrew Songs set to love poems in Hebrew, and other works in this rich musical tradition. Polymnia Choral Society is proud to be joined in this performance by Mark Kross and the Melrose High School Concert Choir, directed by Kimberly A. Piper.
