C.G. Jung's Red Book: a presentation by Dr. Sonu Shamdasani
Sonu Shamdasani, editor and lead translator of The Red Book, will present an illustrated lecture and discussion on C.G. Jung's heretofore unpublished work from which he derived his principal theories. Introduction by Daniel Baumann, President of the Zurich Jung Institute and great-grandson of C. G. Jung. Other events include a Red Book seminar on Saturday, April 17, and banquet (Jung Anew!) on Saturday evening.
Sonu Shamdasani is a historian of psychology and psychiatry and the Philemon Professor of Jung History at the Wellcome Trust Centre for the History of Medicine at University College London, and the general editor of the Philemon Foundation. He is the author of several books, including Jung and the Making of Modern Psychology: The Dream of a Science. He lives in London.
Oregon Friends of C.G. Jung (OFCGJ) is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to exploring the ideas of C.G. Jung. Since 1974, we have been presenting lectures and workshops led by Jungian analysts and scholars from around the world.
