The PIT Presents SketchProv 2009 - Sketch Semifinals
Are you thirsting for a COMEDY BLOODBATH? Well we've got 36 comedy teams and they're gonna go all out in a tournament style competition until only one is left standing!
Improv teams will do improv AND sketch, sketch teams will do sketch AND improv, and all teams will try their hand at the form of sketchprov, using the Second City routine called "The Pad." In each slot, teams will compete to produce a winner, who will advance to the next round and who will continue to have a shot at the $1000 CASH PRIZE!

Sketch Semifinal features sketch AND improv comedy from two of the following teams: The Dan Ryan, Pat and Mary, Secret Hospital, Hopeful Chester, Do you like this in your face?, Peoples Sketch Association, Pembroke and Lu, Ninja Sex Party, Inside Joke Films, Ellis and Park, Calgary Whalers, The Upset Triangle, Gentleman Caller, Audience of Two, Cool Guyot, Foolhardy Manor, Dave and Ethan, and Bacivo Nuggets! The teams who play will the teams who won their quarterfinal rounds.
