Food Justice: Its Whats For Dinner
The Progressive Jewish Alliance, in partnership with American Jewish World Service-AVODAH: The Jewish Service Corps Partnership, invites you to join us:

The evening's festivities include: ~~~Sumptuous Buffet Dinner & Delicious Desserts: Enjoy a locally sourced, organically grown, nutritious and delicious plant-based feast. Indulge in the nectar of the beehive with tastings from a neighborhood beekeeper.
~~~Networking Foodie Bazaar: Mingle and meet inspiring activists, educators, chefs, and local organizations working on food justice issues in our community.
~~~Film Screening: Preview excerpts from the documentary Food Stamped about the challenges of living nutritiously on a food stamp budget.
~~~Lively Panel Discussion: Explore the path of food justice from seed to spirit with Jewish activists. Moderated by Adam Berman, founder of the Adamah Fellowship at Isabella Freedman. Panelists include food advocate attorney Zelig Golden (Center for Food Safety), organic farmer Emily Freed (Jacobs Farm), founding director Willow Rosenthal (City Slicker Farms), and raw-food chef Chaya Ryvka Diehl (Living Vision).
