Summer is here at last! Finally it has arrived, with all that it entails...
The dark and gray has blown away, leaving us with the annual ritual of shedding our coats and hoodies to give our bodies a chance to feel the living world around us. It's a time for fun, expansion and maybe (hopefully) some mischief. We focus on our gardens, hikes, beaches and play with our family and friends, though sometimes that expectation can cause more than a few stories of heartbreak.
You are invited to bring forward your tales of the magic and mischief that the summer sun and warm nights bring forth. Inspire us! Move us! Let us know all about your summertime adventures and misadventures! Playback Theater is all about YOUR story. Come join the community and explore this topic with artistry, safety, play and respect. About Playback Theater:
Playback Theater is an improvisational form of theater whereby audience members tell stories from their lives and watch them enacted on the spot by actors and musicians. Playback is a vehicle not only of personal expression, but a way to create a future. It is powerful and creative, allowing diverse voices to be heard and respected.
