The evening will begin at 5:45pm in the Career Center
Dinner at 6pm
Course 1
Tamales de Calabaza
Blue corn masa filled with roasted butternut squash & black beans, and queso fresco. Garnished with salsa verde, chipotle crema and spiced pepitas.
Course 2
Beef Birria
Traditional Jalisco preparation served with fresh tortillas, lime, onions & cilantro.
Course 3
Pay de Queso con Cajeta
Mexican style cheese cake with goat milk caramel and candied pecans
**Our Chef Dinner is a student led activity. We are restricted to making menu accommodations for vegetarian requests only. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
These fundraising dinners take place in the Shorewood Culinary Arts classroom dining room. Money raised at these events fund Culinary Arts education, including the purchase of new kitchen equipment, teaching materials, field trips, student Chef coats and garden supplies. We appreciate your support of our program.
