A writer of bizarre and twisted fairy tales is hauled into a police station when his macabre stories start to look suspiciously like real-life crimes. What follows is a rollercoaster of interrogations, sibling squabbles, and sinister punchlines where nothing is quite what it seems. Equal parts hilarious and horrifying, "The Pillowman" is Martin McDonaghs jet-black comedy about imagination, storytelling, and the trouble we get into when our words take on a life of their own.
