Gastronomie 491 and West Side Wine Present Winter Warmers
We all need to warm up, and while a run of 70 degree days seems distant, some expertly paired wine and cheese isn't far away at all. Please join us February 25th from 7-8:15 in the cafe space at Gastronomie 491, 491 Columbus Avenue for a cheese and wine tasting. Our wines will be selected and discussed by Nikolai Santurian, the new owner of West Side Wine, the fabulous boutique wine shop just a few doors down from Gastronomie. Martin Johnson, the cheese and wine buyer at Gastronomie 491 and author of the The Joy of Cheese blog (thejoyofcheese.wordpress.com) will select and present the cheeses. The pairings will make you forget terms like Polar Vortex for at least a little while. Tickets are $20, and after the event you can buy the cheeses and the wines you like best!
