About the show: "A love story, pure and simple." That's how Harper Lee describes her Pulitzer Prize-winning novel. "My love of the South, a father's love for his children, and the love they give in return." In a small Alabama town during the Great Depression, attorney Atticus Finch defends a black man accused of attacking a white woman. Lee's beloved story is a timeless exploration of conscience how it is instilled in two children, how it operates in their father, and how it finally begins to take root in their divided community. Join us for this tough and tender tale of race, class, justice, and the irrational conflicts of the human heart. Length: 2 hours Hillsdale High School's Little Theatre is located at 3115 Del Monte Street, San Mateo, CA 94403.
