Borrego Springs Modern
Historic Home Tour & Cocktail Party
11am-4pm HISTORIC HOME TOUR - Visitors will have a rare opportunity to view and learn about the work of prominent mid-century architects who helped develop Borrego Springs into a modern oasis. Some of these homes have never been open to the public. A tour booklet with maps and background information on each home will be provided the day of the tour.
5:30-8:30pm COCKTAIL PARTY - Come enjoy a reception and cocktail party at the landmark Desert Club. Built in 1950 as the clubhouse for the first golf course development in the area, the Desert Club offers a sweeping view of the Borrego valley. Cocktails, wine, beer and non-alcoholic drinks will be served at the Richard Zerbe-designed curved bar along with hors d'oeuvres.
