Spring 2021 Student Showcase

PLEASE READ THIS DESCRIPTION IN ITS ENTIRETY

It has been a long and winding road to get here but we are finally at a place where we can have our first performance! Now that the State of Washington is in Phase 3, we are permitted to have an indoor performance at 50% capacity. This means that each student should be able to have their family and maybe a friend or two come watch them dance. There is a limit of 8 tickets per purchase.

Because the gym at the PT Rec Center does not have many chairs, please bring a lawn chair for each attendee or a blanket to sit on the ground.

Dancers in this performance are 7 years old to adult. There will be short pieces for each of the following classes:

+Beginning jazz
+Intermediate/advanced jazz
+Beginning modern/contemporary
+Intermediate/advanced modern/contemporary
+Advanced modern/contemporary solos
+Ballet 1, 2, and 3
+Solos from ballet 3 and 4 classes
+Acro
+Lyrical

Per WA State Mandates:
+Masks are required for all audience members 5 years and older.
+Dancers are NOT required to wear a mask while on stage dancing. Dancers must wear a mask immediately before and after going on stage however.
+Please stay home if you feel unwell or have been in contact with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 10 days.
+It's unclear at this time whether or not dancers will have to wear a mask while performing. If it is determined that they will be allowed to take it off, they will wear the masks at the venue prior to going on stage and again immediately after.
