Hillsdale High School presents its fall musical
IN THE HEIGHTS, with music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, December 5-8.
Winner of four 2008 Tony Awards including Best Musical,
IN THE HEIGHTS is a potent reminder of the importance of chasing one's dreams and finding where you belong. Set in New York's Washington Heights neighborhood, this exuberant show spices up traditional Broadway fare with hip hop, salsa and rap to tell the stories of the residents of this close-knit Latin community.
As the debut of Hillsdale High School's new Performing Arts Theater, and our largest production to date, IN THE HEIGHTS is a bilingual spectacle that represents our diverse community and modern culture.
IN THE HEIGHTS is directed by Allison Gamlen, with choreography by Sabrina Braccini, musical direction by Kevin Gallagher, and vocal direction by Mark Fish.
