AUTUMN Small Group Open Sanctuary at Broken Shovels
WERE BACK!! Have you missed all the animal snuggles??
Its been a rough 2020 for all of us, and we want to start the healing with meaningful animal interactions, as safely as we can. Our budget has taken an incredible hit, losing over 70% of our funding that has always come from events, and we hope you can help us begin to recover.
We will start with very small group events, to encourage social distancing and safe visits for all of our guests and staff, with animal snuggles all over our ten + acre property. Kiss a baby cow, cuddle a baby lamb, and meet so many new rescues for their first time to be adored by the public.
We have one SANCTUARY MORNINGS tour, just after we finish morning feeding and chores, for a serene visit in the morning sun before it gets too hot. This is the perfect time for sunny selfies, watching the ducks and geese swim, pigs roll in the mud and baby cows after breakfast cuddles.
We have one SANCTUARY NIGHTS tour, this is our sunset, golden hour tour, the best time for photographers and anyone wanting to experience the amazing Colorado evening light as it falls over the sanctuary and we tuck in the animals for bed. This is absolutely my favorite time of day here, as it gets cooler and the animals get their last frisks out before bed. Refreshments will be available.
