Babywearing for Doulas offers information about and hands-on access to a variety of carrier types including a discussion of benefits, detriments and limitations of each type. We will discuss basic safety for babywearing, proper positioning, troubleshooting, and tips for improving fit and comfort. Doulas will be better able to assist caregivers in using the carrier they own and ensuring proper use for a newborn. Help your clients use their carriers in a safe, comfortable, functional and practical way.
