Drag For Diplomas

The Dr. Annise Mabry Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization based in Conyers, Ga specializing in community development. The Foundation provides support in the areas of community outreach initiatives such as Christmas with a Cop as well as alternative diploma programs such as Thrive with Pride. The Thrive with Pride Program was created in 2018 by a community reinvestment grant from the Atlanta Pride Committee. Thrive with Pride is Georgia's only alternative high diploma program for LGBTQ students who have dropped out of school and operates under Tiers Free Academy.

Thrive with Pride works with several local nonprofit organizations to provide a high school diploma to homeless LGBTQ youth or LGBTQ sex trafficking survivors.

The 2020 Thrive with Pride Fundraiser is sponsored by Atlanta Pride Committee, Atlanta Black Pride, Tito's Vodka, and True Colours Cava. The event will be held at My Sister's Room in Midtown Atlanta.

Ticket prices start at $35. There will be a drag show with some of Atlanta's hottest performers and DJ Wulf be spinning the show away! .
