Quality Sound Design: Production, Design, Mix
Come learn what to do and what not to do to make sure you get the best sound you can afford.

Amy Gerber-Stroh, Associate Professor and Chair of the Film Studies Program at Hollins University   Gerber-Strohs films have won honors at numerous film festivals and professional venues, including Edinburgh International Film Festival, Mill Valley Film Festival, Film Forum, Los Angeles, and Women In the Directors Chair, Chicago. She also directed films for the Los Angeles County Museum of Art from 1993 to 1996. She has had significant professional film experience in Hollywood and New York, working on several movie features by Roger Corman as well as casting 12 major motion pictures including The Mask of Zorro (Columbia Pictures), Goldeneye (MGM), Afterglow (Sony Pictures Classics), Tank Girl (United Artists) and Angels In The Outfield (Disney).

Heidi Gerber-Salins, Founder All Access Audio. She has worked extensively with music, spoken word, and sound for radio, film, video, and television, and her projects have garnered multiple Grammy and Washington Area Music Association Award nominations, as well as New York Radio Festival awards. She also served on the Board of Governors for the Washington D.C. Chapter of the Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. Gerber-Salins is assistant professor of multiplatform production in the School of Global Journalism and Communication at Morgan State University.
