TAKEOVER! Alum Artist-Led Workshop: Weaving with Laurie Lambrecht
SUNDAY, MARCH 15 | 3-4:30 PM | Ages 16+ | $30 ($25 for Friends of SAC)
Join TAKEOVER! 2019 alum Laurie Lambrecht for the return of her very special weaving workshop. All levels, ages 16+.
Attendees will learn the basics of tapestry weaving on a small frame and returning guests from 2019 can continue on their looms. Experiment with color, pattern and texture. Looms will be provided but attendees should bring a 12 ruler and a fork (for pushing the weft) and any threads, yarns or other fibrous items to try!
Take your loom home and continue your project after class. Adults only. Space is limited. Advance reservations recommended.
Laurie Lambrecht is an internationally known photographer and artist based in Bridgehampton, NY, focusing primarily on color, surface, form and texture.
