REMAIN IN LIGHT #4 is the fourth in the new season of shows from Neu! Reekie!
REMAIN IN LIGHT is a monthly showcase of experimental / avante-garde/ dissident / outward looking culture featuring an eclectic shapeshifting mix of poetry, music, spoken word, performance art, dance, visual art, science, film, animation & activism.

PIRITA TUISKU performs DROWN
DROWN is a solo dance performance: a journey of human experience, of losing someone: the loss of a friend to disease, or someone moving far away. How people get lost in strong emotions and self change. How does this effect us and our body? How we Drown and how do we get up?
Pirita Tuisku is a Finnish Dancer, Choreographer & Dance teacher now based in Edinburgh.  An international dance artist, Pirita has been running her own dance school Cross Move Company and Surraa Production in Finland.

3 POETS 7 LANGUAGES
To celebrate the launch of the latest issue of Modern Poetry In Translation poets Christine De Luca,  Clare Pollard & MacGillivray will read, perform & experiment in poetry in no less than 7 of the languages spoken in Scotland & UK: including Scots, Gaelic, Shetlandic, Orcadian and English as well as translated work from the current issue by Somalian poet  Asha Lul, plus a saucy poem from Medieval Welsh  (Ode To My Cunt). Kate Mathis will read poetry from the current issue written in Gaelic.

LIVE MUSIC
Findlay Napier will round the night off with a set of songs from, among other  recordings, his most recent  album Glasgow, a heartfelt tribute to the Dear Green Place (hands across the M8 and aw that).
