Event
Mark Twain In Fairhaven
When local playwright and historian Joseph Lenz wrote his "musical tall tale" Mark Twain in Fairhaven, he probably never guessed it would be 10 years before it would actually be performed in its namesake locality. For three weekends in August the Firehouse Performing Arts Center will host the play, which is loosely based on Twain's visit to Fairhaven in 1895.
The show opens August 1 and closes August 18. Performances are Thursday, Friday, Saturday nights at 7:30, Sunday afternoons at 2 p.m.
