Creative Dance Center's Afternoon of Dance Show 2
The Afternoon of Dance showcases the Creative Dance Center teaching methodology, brain-compatible dance education, and provides our students the opportunity to perform on stage in front of friends and family.
CDC dancers - preschoolers, children, teens, and adults - have worked hard in class and now is their time to shine on stage! CDCs Afternoon of Dance is not your typical recital. Our students work in collaboration with each other and their teacher to choreograph and present a dance that is age appropriate and creative, sharing the skills they have explored and learned in class.
Our audience will see partnering, deep understanding of the elements of dance Space, Time, Force, Body - as well as inventive use of choreographic forms and devices. The Afternoon of Dance is a celebration of community, creativity, and collaboration! Please join us as we bring dance out of the studio and onto the stage!
