Live Talk: Speak Out!
Pivot Arts presents our first of three Live Talk shows, Speak Out, hosted by rising star, Isaac Gomez. The evening's theme focuses on the power of language to hurt, to heal, to entertain and the importance of speaking truth to power.
Performances by spoken word artist, Nikki Patin and music with Stacy Erenberg as part of the Stacy Rene Band, a folk-infused jazz and soul band. Plus storyteller Aimy Tien, actress Mia Park and the Pivot DIY led by Arts Justice Organizer, Alyssa Vera Ramos. Full info at pivotarts.org/events.
Co-curated by Quenna Barrett and Julieanne Ehre, the evening takes place at the new state-of-the-art Green Line Performing Arts Center located on Chicago's South Side at 329 E. Garfield.
