Hot drinks and cake provided and Volunteers will have to bring their own lunch.
New Conservation Woodland, encouraging genetic diversity and allowing populations to respond to pressures brought about by human activity, pollution and climate change.
Last year we planted trees and shrubs here for a day beside the upper reaches of the Adur river. It was a wonderful experience.
This year we are planting along the river again (1000 trees!) and will replace trees that didn't survive the very long period of hot weather, with no rain, that we had this summer.
The trees will be mainly Alder and Willow, which will create riverine habitat for a large variety of species.
The Big Lemon bus hire costs £250 for the day which is the only reason that this is a paid event, so let's fill up all the spaces on this bus, please! Bring your friends, or leave them at home!
And,
Thank you so much for joining us.
