In celebration of the publication of The Collected Plays of Chaim Potok, join Rena Potok and cast for a staged reading and the New York premiere of Chaim Potoks play, Out of the Depths. Based on the life of S. Ansky, author of The Dybbuk, the play is set in 1920 in a Warsaw rehearsal room where the Vilna Troupe are preparing the premiere of The Dybbuk. The Collected Plays of Chaim Potok, edited by his daughter Rena, is the first-ever collection of the author's plays. Book sale and signing follow the program.
