ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:|
Feeling confident with your work but not sure how to perform it? Join us as Aaron Simm walks you through his methods of polishing your work and getting performance-ready! This workshop is intended for poets who already have a small repertoire of work and are seeking help with transitioning from practicing in their bedrooms in front of a mirror to performing onstage in front of a live audience.
***As poetry is often a form of expressing pain, trauma, and adult content, we advise that participants be at least 15 years of age. This is not a child-friendly event.***
15 seats are available for purchase ahead of time and we will be offering limited tickets at the door - guarantee your seat and get your ticket now!
12 of the online tickets are being offered at the regular rate of $10 and the remaining 3 are being offered at the benefactor rate of $20 to subsidize folks who want to attend but can't afford it.
If you would like a subsidized ticket, please contact VPP's Executive Director, Shayli Robinson, at email@example.com.
