University STEM Academy Camp
We invite your scholar (son and/or daughter) to join the University STEM Academy (USA), in collaboration with the Riverside County NAACP Youth Council, for a one week Intensive Robotics Summer Camp, August 6th to August 10th. USA is a Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) program designed to stimulate more interest, and to enhance performance, in technical subjects by students in the Black community. The Summer Camp will be offered to Grades 6 to 12, with an emphasis on Healthcare, Medicine, Algorithmic and Computational Thinking via coding, robotics, and telemedicine projects.
On Monday, August 6th, 2019 the University STEM Academy (USA) will be enrolling scholars between 8:00am and 9:00am. This intake session will occur at the University of California, Riverside campus (900 University Ave, Riverside, CA 92521), in room 3210 of the Psychology Building, which is located next to Lot #6. Parking is free, and signs will be posted. A full session is planned for that day, ending at 5:00pm.
