In this Afro-futuristic universe, there is no clear line between artificial intelligence and humans who need mechanical parts to survive. They have all been treated unfairly by the powers that be. In a world where love, magick*, and spirituality thrive, the characters in this story must come to terms with the grim notion that light can only emerge via darkness.
