CLARA: CONFESSIONS - by Viktoriya Papayani - NYSummerfest Theater Festival 2018
This is is a one-woman play, written by me about a legendary 19th c. pianist and composer Clara Schumann. The play introduces an important and influential female musician, whos been overlooked. The public needs to learn more about female composers. I will be portraying Clara in this play. Being a classical pianist and actress myself, I feel it is a unique combination for playing this role.
