FIVE WOMEN - by Richie Abanes - NYSummerfest Theater Festival 2018
Five Women covers five years in the lives of a lawyer, her artist sister, their uptight mother, a fashion model, and her ex-lover (a rising New York attorney). This humorous, yet often heart-rending, play deals with sexual harassment, family dynamics; spirituality; friendship; love; forgiveness; and grief. Surprises abound as the women discover more about themselves and each other.
