RARE DAY PROJECTS presents A VERY DIFFERENT PLACE
When the prodigal son returned, his father showered him with love. What kind of welcome will Teri get when she dares to face the home she abandoned twenty years ago, leaving her two-year old son in the care of her mother, her promise to return unfulfilled? Now, a chance meeting with her 20-year old son, Mike, has brought her back to her aging mother. Mike dreams of a happy reunion, and a chance to fulfill his own dreams. "It's your turn now, Teri."
Teri dreads the moment she walks back in that door.
In one short week-end, the three of them are forced to confront the ghosts of the past and find a way forward into an uncertain and hazardous future.
The play stars Rosemary Doyle as Teri, Jeanette Dagger as Marge and Alexzander McLarry as Mike.
