This conference is titled: "Guided Visualizations and Hypnotherapy for Cancer Patients: A Guide for Clinicians"
This is the spring conference of the Connecticut Social Work Oncology Group. These conferences are held twice a year on pertinent topics for oncology social workers or other health care professionals working with oncology patients.
The program's speaker will be Kathy Hayes-Bloch, MSW, LCSW.
Learning objectives are:
1. Learn about the historical uses of hypnosis in
psychotherapy
2. The research on hypnosis and pain management
will be discussed
3. Experience hypnosis and guided visualizations
for self-care
