About the dance:
Argentine tango is a fun and creative dance. The culture of the dance asks for partners to change constantly like in an endless search for a perfect soul.
This is the dance where the embrace means "acceptance" and, with the beautiful music, the couples discover each other without words. During this event we will be changing partners often allowing you to discover new friends and reveal your inner tango and self.

Additional information:

Argentine Tango etiquette to invite someone to dance is unique and sensual. The gentleman invites the lady to dance by looking at her and nodding. She will respond with a smile if she accepts. Then the gentleman will approach the lady and embrace her to start dancing.

The format:

At the tango mixer our host will tell you the origins of Tango, a dance created to meet and mingle with new people. Our teachers will teach simple elements and work on connection exercises. We will change partners often, using mixer drills and the "Tango etiquette". This will allow you to discover each other in a meaningful and deep way. At the end of the experience, you will have a chance to interact and exchange contacts with the person you have a connection with

This event is good for everyone. No dance experience is necessary

Takeaway:
Every attendee will receive a "Free Intro to Tango" pass to discover our school classes on Mondays or Saturdays (an email is necessary). We will raffle two "one month unlimited" Tango classes, good for two people, for you to share with that special someone you met at the mixer.
