Company d dancers present LOCAL Live
LOCAL Live unites some of Memphis most talented dance, theater, and visual artists to create an exciting showcase for the talents of Company d, a dance ensemble of individuals with Down syndrome.
Company d is celebrated for their musicality, dynamic dancing, and unique ability to inspire and shape the culture of their community, one step at a time.
The IRIS Orchestras Community Initiative and Artist Fellows program has also partnered with Company d and will perform the premiere of a musical composition by Jerald Walker. The inspiration for this piece and the choreography, inspired by artist Jamond Bullock.
