Intro to Drone Photography & Videography
Inn Serendipity Bed and Breakfast and Farm
Browntown, WI
Share this event:

Whether you already have a drone or are thinking about buying one, join drone pilots Liam Kivirist and John Ivanko for a very introductory session on flying your own drone. We'll cover the basics on what to look for if you're in the market for buying a drone. Then, we'll go through an informal mini-flight school before we head out to fly drones.  For those without their own drone, we will offer a little, highly supervised, flight time at very low altitudes with a DJI Phantom 4 Pro+ (if you're ready for it). The Phantom 4 Pro is one of the easiest and safest consumer drones on the market.

Older children (ages 15 and over) welcome with adult supervision and own paid ticket (for the child).

A free copy of Renewing the Countryside: WISCONSIN will be given away to every family, couple and/or household registered for a particular workshop (a $26.95 value); the free book giveaway is limited to one copy per residential address of attendees.

About Liam Kivirist and John D. Ivanko:

Liam and John recently purchased their first drone and would like to share their first year experiences with prospective and other new drone pilots.

CANCELLATION POLICY: NO REFUNDS.  SOIL SISTERS has a no refund policy. You can, however, transfer your ticket to another person, provided that person is in possession of the ticket at the time of the workshop.

On behalf of the South Central Chapter of the Wisconsin Farmers Union, thanks for participating in SOIL SISTERS. Since this is an annual event, we invite you to share your experiences on our Facebook page or other social media you use. Of course, we're always looking for ways to make your experience better, so let us know what we did right and what we could improve upon. Hope to see you back again next year where they'll always be something new to taste, animal to meet or soil sister to greet.
