Join Lauren Rudersdorf of Raleigh's Hillside Farm and close friend, fellow farmer and writer Vanessa Herald of Make Time Farm for a mini retreat on the farm. After a brief, facilitated opening activity, attendees will be given time to work independently. This two-hour session is modeled after Vanessa's monthly full-day retreats on her farm where "Make Time holds the space for you to be present in a way that is meaningful for you and your self-directed projects. We provide the beautiful, distraction-free location. You provide yourself, your supplies, and your project. (Be it a Ph.D. dissertation, a nap, a book to read, or an album to write.) Make Time is your permission slip to dive deeply into your own work and your own world." |
All ages welcome with paid ticket.
A free copy of Renewing the Countryside: WISCONSIN will be given away to every family, couple and/or household registered for a particular workshop (a $26.95 value); the free book giveaway is limited to one copy per residential address of attendees.
