"Formed in the endless summer of 2002, BattleStar has been reinventing music in a way that boggles the mind, while still maintaining a very heavy sound. This "Power trio" has been influenced by a wide variety of styles, and somehow manages to bring a sound that is unique and refreshing into a world of cookie-cutter mainstream bands. Members are Diego Ponssa on vocals and guitars, Jeremy Phipps on bass and Mike McCracken on drums. Each of them brings a unique style and background of music from all over the universe. Hailing from Tampa Bay Florida , BattleStar has an incredible raw talent and is even better to see live."
